SIPS provides services to the Swiss planetary science User Community through its platforms in order to facilitate and improve upon scientific return. It establishes a structure for national collaboration, enabling ambitious Swiss-led multidisciplinary research programmes in planetary sciences.
Each of the 5 platforms links SIPS to specific audiences, using dedicated tools.

Science Coordination
Mission: Supports coordination of scientific initiatives across the SIPS network.
